Your receipts address
Open Receipts. The Email receipts in box at the top shows your own address, something like receipts-k7m2q9x4ab@in.crewroo.com. Tap Copy and save it as a contact in your email app so it's quick to forward to.
Send a receipt
Forward the receipt email, or send a new email with the receipt attached, to that address. From any of your email accounts: CrewRoo goes by the address you send to, not the one you send from.
- Each photo or PDF attached becomes its own receipt (up to 10 per email, 10 MB each).
- An email that is the receipt (Uber, Lyft, airlines, hotels) becomes one receipt: a PDF of the email.
- Small images in email signatures are skipped.
Review it
Within a minute it shows up in Receipts with an Emailed tag, marked Pending, with the vendor, amount, date and category filled in if AI reading is on (see How AI reads your receipts). Open it, then:
- Under Put on a trip, tap the trip that matches the receipt date, or choose another. Only receipts on a trip go on its invoice.
- Tap Edit, check the details and tap Approve. See Review, approve, or reject a receipt.
If something isn't saved
You don't get an email when it works. If nothing in your email could be saved (no receipt in it, a file over 10 MB, a file CrewRoo can't open, or your account is read-only), CrewRoo replies to tell you why.
Up to 50 receipts a day can be emailed in.
Get a new address
Shared your address by mistake? Tap Get a new address under it. The old one stops working straight away; receipts already saved stay where they are.
