What CrewRoo stores

Your account and profile details, your clients, trips, expense reports, invoices, receipts and their files, your W-9/W-4 if uploaded, and your bank details if you add them. CrewRoo stores your subscription status but never your full card number — Apple or Stripe handles payment.

Who it's shared with

• Your data isn't sold.
• It's shared only with the services that run CrewRoo (hosting, storage, email delivery), with Apple or Stripe for billing, and — for receipts you agree to — with the AI provider that reads them.
• Your clients only see what you send them: the invoice, receipts, and any attachments you tick.

Bank details

Routing and account numbers are encrypted in transit and at rest, stored separately, and only used to build the payment info sheet you choose to attach. See Payment details and the payment info sheet.

AI receipt reading

With your consent, receipt images (or the text of a PDF) are sent to OpenAI to fill in the details. OpenAI does not use this data to train its models. Nothing else about your account is sent. You can turn this off anytime in Profile → AI Receipt Reading. See How AI reads your receipts.

This Help Center's assistant only receives your question and the help articles — never your trips, receipts, or client data.
